The primary goal of the International Staff Week is to foster international cooperation, enhance academic exchange, and promote cultural understanding among the participating institutions and their staff. This event aims to strengthen institutional partnerships, encourage innovative collaborations, and equip participants with the tools, skills, and experiences needed to excel in a global academic and administrative environment.
During the event, there will be workshops, discussions, and an exchange of best practices for participants. We’ll also share our own experiences and have plenty of time for networking, making new connections, and exploring the beautiful Bangkok. Come join us as we work together to improve HEI education for everyone.

Focus points:
Join us for a week of insightful workshops, interactive discussions, and cultural experiences focused on fostering international cooperation, academic innovation, and professional growth. Key highlights include the Kick-off Day at Kasetsart University, where you’ll learn about the university’s academic landscape and partnerships, followed by site visits to innovative companies and cultural immersion activities. Dive into career-focused workshops on topics such as academic writing for PhD students, competencies for international offices, and strategies for integrating digital transformation and sustainability into higher education. Additional sessions will explore project collaboration, student internship programs, and the benefits of international diversity, all designed to inspire fresh ideas and strengthen global academic partnerships.
Who can apply?
International Staff Week 2025 is designed for academic and administrative staff, including professors, and support staff, who are involved in fostering international cooperation and student engagement. All interested professionals working within higher education institutions are welcome to join. Professors are encouraged to hold additional lectures or seminars during the week upon prior arrangement, providing an opportunity to share expertise and enhance the collaborative academic environment.

Exploring Bangkok and Thailand
Besides the innovative program, participants of the International Staff Week 2024 will also have the chance to explore the vibrant culture and history of Bangkok, the bustling capital of Thailand. Known for its stunning temples, vibrant street life, and rich heritage, Bangkok offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Highlights include a visit to the magnificent Grand Palace, a symbol of Thailand’s regal history, and the iconic Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Participants will also experience the city’s lively markets and indulge in world-renowned Thai cuisine. For a change of pace, there will be opportunities to explore serene surroundings and immerse in the beauty of Thailand’s cultural and natural landmarks.
