Keynote speech abstract: Innovation and sustainability have been essential for private enterprises for the past decades. Despite the need to focus on innovativeness and competitiveness, foreign business operators have actively engaged with communities and society to incorporate sustainability into planning and business processes. Long-term commitment requires these operators to excel in the areas of sustainability which encompasses the term Environment, Society, and Governance or ESG. Partnership with higher education institutes becomes necessary not only to accelerate innovation but also to improve ESG activities.
